The problem
How do you keep up with the news?
The paper. Google. Social media. Friends and family. You hear bits of the news everywhere. It is so difficult to stay up to date.

But it’s AI. Can I trust it?
Yes, Trimmed uses AI. We work to make the summaries accurate, but AI can make mistakes.
Every story keeps the source links together, one tap away. Check the reporting, explore the details, and make up your own mind.

Here’s how the reporting becomes a Trimmed story.
Trimmed collects articles from news feeds and skips articles it has already seen.
It compares the meaning of titles and descriptions, then checks for shared names and topics. Matching articles join a group. A new topic starts a new group.
Similar groups can be combined. An AI check looks for articles that don’t belong before the summary is written.
AI turns article excerpts into a clear summary, using the existing story as context for updates. It also creates different headline styles for you to choose from.
The server considers the number of articles and different publishers, how recent the coverage is, and how much it has grown. It uses these signals to select stories to summarize or refresh. The AI is asked to focus on new facts and keep the main summary factual.
Choose how headlines are written. Keep it Simple, try Editorial, or go Caveman. Pick the style you like to read.
